Litter Is A Wet Blanket

KEEPING BREVARD BEACHES CLEAN
FOR LOVE OF PEOPLE AND ANIMALS

Seagull Park, Satellite Beach
Known to us as Grampa's Beach
High tide had waves charging onto the beach pushing mounds of seaweed onto the sand.  I've never seen this much seaweed on the beach.
We climbed huge piles of it to get to trash scattered throughout its tangles.

Muy foreign flotsam
Yipes! I almost grabbed this tiny man o' war jellyfish.
It really does resemble plastic wrap
This wet blanket has been stuck in the sand
since my first blog a month ago

Sadly this was anchored too deeply to
yank from the sand

Thanks for stopping by.
Wanna feel good?  Wanna sleep snug?
Go to the beach and give it a hug

Good grief, this mess looks like a smurf
who met with an untimely demise.
It is in actuality a dreaded balloon cluster,
scourge of the seas and tormenter of jellyfish eaters
